Another dumbfounding incident of the sorry state of some Kenyan churches has surfaced the internet in a bizarre case in Nakuru.
A 13-year-old girls from Ponda Mali slum Nakuru narrowly escaped death after she was burnt face by church members in bid to “exorcise demons.”
She was rushed to Nakuru hospital where she has been receiving treatment but her right eye was badly injured.
The girl whose face was badly disfigured was hit by another shock, when doctors revealed she was pregnant too, allegedly impregnated by pastor.
Narrating the ordeal, she said church members of Roho Mowar Israel arrived at her brother’s house 7:30 where she lived.
” I was seated at home when they knocked the door and entered. They wrapped my head in a red piece of cloth and said they would pray to exorcise evil spirits in my body. They then poured paraffin on my face and lit the candle,” she narrated.
However one of the members who led the tragic service confessed it was an accident.
