A Nairobi businesswoman who went missing on Friday 12 February has been found dead and body dumped in Kajiado.

The 38-year-old Caroline Maina, went missing under mysterious circumstances. On the said day, she had neither went home nor contacted her family to tell them of her whereabouts.

It was then that the DCI handling the case contacted Caroline’s sister to go identify the body.

It is reported the DCI sleuths were guided to the place by some of the suspects that had been held over her disappearance.

According to the officers, they suspected the victim could have been tortured as her body was mutilated and her eyes gouged out.

The business lady was last seen at Stima Plaza in Ngara and her vehicle was found dumped near Gatina Primary School in Kawangware.

Police officers suspect her death could be a result of business deal gone wrong.

It is said her friends and church-mate Mercy Gitiri alongside Edwin Otieno, Stephen Oduor and Samuel Okoth have been arrested.
