Reports emerging from the meeting held on February 18 between the president and his Cabinet Secretaries indicate the boss dared government officials aligned with his deputy to quit from office or toe the line.
It is also reported the DP was not present during the meeting, with his allies insisting he was not invited.
The president allegedly warned officials who were not paying attention on working with him to join other factions and allow him to lead the nation smoothly.
“He said he was only keen to work with a strong united team and warned those with their loyalties elsewhere that they were free to leave and he would readily replace them. He said it is either you are with him or not,” source revealed.
It’s alleged the president is planning to reshuffle his Cabinet and fire CSs believed are colluding with his Deputy.
He is also reportedly keen on cracking the whip on the DP’s sympathizers in Parliament and other public offices.
