The cabinet secretary Magret Kobia under the docket of public works and Gender has condemned the impeachment of Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru terming it as undervaluing strong women.
Through her office of Public Works and Gender, the professor took it upon herself and wrote a letter demining the move that has been taken to debunk Governor Ann Waiguru from her gubernatorial seat. This what she noted.
“Governor Anne Waiguru’s term is being cut short by an alleged impeachment, this is an indicator that some of us do not value strong women leadership,”
Some Kenyans on twitter did not take upon her remarks lightly and criticized her biased opinion on Ann Waigurus tenure. This was some of the sentiments made;
