CS Ukur Yatani Extends KRA Boss James Mburu’s Term For Five Years.

The Treasury CS Ukur Yatani has increased Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) boss James Mburu’s term by another five years as the Commissioner-General.

In a gazette notice, CS Yatani extended the Kenya Revenue Authority boss term to five years from the previous three.

James Mburu is said to have taken over leadership of KRA in June last year after appointment by former Treasury CS Rotich.

Before Mburu was appointed, Githii served as Intelligence and Strategic Operations who conducted investigations that saw several KRA officials arrested for aiding tax evasion.
