Diamond Platinumz’s Lover, Zari Hassan sued over paternity of her newborn

In a new twist of events, the much publicised Ugandan socialite come singer, Zari Hassan, has been sued by King Lawrence, the cousin to Zari Hassan’s ex husband Ivan. Lawrence, quickly moved to court to pursue paternity rights of Zari’s baby girl, Latifah aka Tiffah.

According to a letter filed by Ugandan law firm, Web Advocates and Solicitors, Lawrence has expressed his concern over what he says is “Zari’s unilateral decision to give paternity of baby Tiffany to Nasibi Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platinumz “, a move he is totally opposed to.

The suit seeks to compel Diamond’s partner, Zari Hassan, to take her daughter (Tiffah) for up to three DNA tests to establish the child’s true paternity. It’s recommended that one test be conducted in South Africa, the other in Uganda and a final one in the United States.

According to a letter written to Zari Hassan, the firm claims their client, King Lawrence, believes there is a possibility that the child could be his. Below is the complete later written to Zari.

We write in respect to the above captioned matter and on behalf of our client King Lawrence.

It has come to our client’s attention that you have unilaterally decided to offer the paternity of the above captioned infant to a one Nasibu Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platnumz without considering his strong interests or in fact a real possibility that the child could be his. You hav also denied him the slightest access to the child.

We therefore write to officially request your cooperation in this matter so that our client’s fears that a child that could actually be his is not nurtured, groomed and raised by another man with a completely different culture. Our client needs to put this to rest, in any event.

Our client therefore suggests that three paternity tests are run i.r. One in Uganda, one in South Africa and the last in the United States of America so that our client is either confirmed or completely excluded from being the infant’s biological father. King undertakes to meet all associated costs involved in this process.

We believe that this kind request shall be treated with the urgency it deserves but should you not cooperate with tin seven (7) working days from the date of the receipt of this letter, our instructions are that we take further steps to address our clients.
