Former Citizen TV anchor Hussein Mohammed who left the station at the peak of his fame and moved into consultancy has landed a new job in a project funded by the US government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Former KTN News Anchor Yussuf Ibrahim revealed that the two had joined the project, the Resilience Learning Activity (RLA) individually as consultants.

He also noted that, as of now, both are working on the project with their respective firms, but are planning to collaborate.

“We have a partnership but it is not on paper. It happened we got this project as individual personalities but he has his own firm and I have my own company.

“We are individuals consultants but we want to partner so we come up with a communication firm. We want to have a one-stop shop for everything to do with communication,” stated Yussuf Ibrahim.

He also noted that the new company is going to be a one-stop-shop communications agency dealing with issues such as digital marketing, communication strategy and crisis communication.

Hussein Mohammed runs a media company called Iris Media.
