Four people were killed on a road accident at Kahoya area in Timboroa, Baringo County on Saturday, October 31.
Maxwell Agoro, Eldama Ravine OCPD confirmed the incident and stated that the deceased were yet to be identified.
The accident involving a Prado and Probox occurred at around 6 in the morning. Both vehicles were heading to Nakuru from Eldoret.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the Prado was trying to overtake other vehicles when lorries approached from the opposite direction.
The causalities reported were occupants of the Probox. The police took the bodies to Eldama Ravine sub-county hospital morgue. Occupants of the Prado sustained injuries from the accident and were taken to Timboroa Health Centre for treatment.
According to a report released by NTSA, 2,689 persons had lost their lives between January 1 and September 30, 2020, compared to the same period last year where 2,655 lives were lost.
