The transport cabinet secretary James Macharia has put strict measures on movement to other counties after the ban on cessation was lifted by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
James Macharia said ten coaches will be deployed with a total of 600 passengers which is a 50% capacity. A Nairobi Commuter service will also be provided from the Syokimau Terminus to the CBD Station.
Public vehicles moving to counties are supposed to have a clearance certificate.
“When they get into the counties, the responsibility becomes that of the public health officers in the county in conjunction with traffic police and the Council of Governors to ensure compliance,” said Macharia.
“All PSV vehicles travelling are supposed to have a passenger manifest,” added the transport cabinet secretary.
