Interesting and juicy details about Wizkid and Tems

Reactions have trooped in as award winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid announced a collaboration with fast rising Nigerian singer, Tems.

After making this known to fans,it’s been trending as fans can’t wait to listen to this magic they both made. Whether or not it will be listed on the “Made In Lagos” Album, we don’t know.

He posted this on his Twitter page, he quoted “Tems and I made magic”. This got their fans going crazy on twitter and making it the number one trending topic in Nigeria.

We hope it’ll push “Tems” to a whole lot new level in the music industry. But with all the mixed reaction its hard to know what exactly is going through the peoples minds but one thing is for sure, the collaboration is eagerly being awaited by WizKids fans.

Temilade Openiyi (born July 23, 1996), known as Tems , is a Nigerian alt-R&B singer, songwriter and record producer. As sung on her hit single Try Me, Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems is far from the typical breakout talents in the Nigerian music industry.

Even though her love for music began from age eleven, a time where she describes as having a “very quiet” childhood, it didn’t stop her from wanting to harness it, “I didn’t like to do so many things but I loved music a lot and I knew early that I wanted to develop myself in it”, she says.

But Wizkid has been known to provide a platform to bring new artists up. He never seems to concern himself with the status quo and fail to do a collabo with a rising star cause he is already established.

He rather does collabos on artists he believes in. Examples of such artists are Naira Marley and Fireboy who became popular after Wizkids provided them with that platform.

Wizkid, real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is a Nigerian afrobeat singer-songwriter from Lagos. He is best known for featuring on Drake’s One Dance.
