The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) announced the closure of the Milimani Law Courts.
In a statement dated Monday, 14 December 2020, the JSC confirmed that services will not be offered from Friday, December 18 at the Nairobi Upper Hill Law Courts.
The document signed by the Registrar of the High Court further stated that the facility would be closed for three days.
“Pursuant to our previous communication on the above matter, and as part of ongoing measures to ensure the safety of court users, the Milimani Law Courts premises is scheduled to undergo disinfection on December 18 and December 19, 2020.
“Consequently, the court will be closed on December 18, 2020, Normal services will resume on the December 21,” the statement read in part.
The statement added that this was to pave way for the scheduled fumigation exercise anticipated to run for two days.
