Kayole Pastor Feeds 1000 Children Daily Amid This Tough Times Of The Pandemic

Pastor Steve Mbugua through his Faith Rescue Network, started a feeding program for children which his daily target was 400 children initially.

After the schools closed in March when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, the number of children rose to 1000 mysteriously.

Children start queuing from 6 am in the morning to get food that most families now rely on daily. Pastor steve collected some contributions from other well wishers to help sustain the children.

“Some of the parents lost their jobs, even those who were teachers are struggling , some come from families where parents are alcoholics, we even realised others have been surviving on their own and collecting food from garbage,” said Mbugua.

The preacher hopes to get more well wishers to help feed the children who come from poor families. The program is said to feed kids from Kayole, Matopeni and Soweto slum.
