Kitui CEC Arrested Over Forged Degree Certificate.

Kitui Trade Executive Philip Mumo has been arrested by EACC sleuths for allegedly using counterfeit papers to secure employment .

Barely two months ago, Mumo lost a court case he sought to overturn his impeachment by the county assembly on account he was hired by governor Ngilu’s administration on a phony university degree certificate.

The EACC detectives stormed Momo’s home on Thursday before leaving for work and took him to Kitui Police Station where he is being held as the process to charge him is being finalized.

However, they said if they fail to finish the finalization Mumo is to be arraigned today.
