A local daily yesterday published the list of top gays and Lesbian in the country. Most of them are renowned politicians, celebrities and activists. Gay topic is quite sensitive in Africa as a whole. It’s ‘unlike’ the African culture which many find rather bizarre.
Some of the mentioned individuals in the list, have previously been heard condemning anyone who speaks against the gay community. Makau Mutua who tops the list, was heard condemning deputy president William Ruto, terming his gay remarks as ‘silly.’
Ruto who told the gay people to look for their own country in a Sunday church service, maintained that Kenya had no room for gays and lesbians. This is the list, check it out.
