A 22-year-old man was found dead in Loikas, Samburu County in what seemed to be suicide.
The Samburu Central sub-county police commandant Alex Rotich, stated testing kits revealing his status were found near the victim’s body.
It is alleged he hanged himself using his belt in his rented room. He however added no suicide note or any document was left behind apart from the kit that showed he was positive.
“The test kits had blood stains. He might have repeated the test more than twice,” said Police commandant Rotich.
The 22-year-old body was taken to Samburu County Referral Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination.
