Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has termed interior Principle Secretary Karanja Kibicho as a man whose aim is to ruin his political career.

Rarely a week can end without claiming that Mr Kibicho and other powerful forces are scheming to oust him from office claiming that they aren’t happy with his administration strong stand against crooks and cartels especially in the city hall.
Recently during a media interview, Kibicho denied the allegations that he is fighting Sonko.
In his latest Facebook post, the embattled Governor said Kibicho gave instructions to his juniors to remove and vandalize a new public sanitation booth that had been installed at the Kibra Deputy County Commissioner’s office.
Sonko said his move was to help the people of Kibra by donating the booth similar to the one governor Joho donated in Mombasa.
Recently Sonko rescue team was blocked from distributing food stuff to the less fortunate by the government.
“I want to tell this PS, who has been fighting me, that he will not succeed in his attempts to put me at loggerheads with the Kikuyu community,” Sonko was quoted saying few months ago.
Sonko is among few politicians who have blamed the interior PS for their misfortunes.
A month ago, Kirinyaga governor Ann Mumbi Waiguru also pointed finger to Kibicho. She accused him of funding motion of her impeachment by the County assembly.
Waiguru said that Kibicho is eyeing Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat and he is using all strategy to bring her down.
The governor was accused of misuse of office and misappropriation of the public funds.
