Prison Break main actor Wentworth Miller known as Michael Scofield says he is done with the action series. The hollywood actor ruined expectations for the sixth season after revealing he is done playing the part of a straight man.
He noted that he had been bullied and trolled too many times on social media, but that wasn’t going to shake him. The actor added that his experiences on Instagram did not cause his sudden decision to quit the series.
Miller claimed he would officially switch off comments on his post and block anyone who tried to bring hate to his way.
“Not because of static on social media (although that has centered the issue). I just do not want to play straight characters. Their stories have been told and told,” he wrote.
The actor acknowledged that he knew a lot of fans were going to be disappointed by his actions and he apologized for that.
“So. No more Michael. If you were a fan of the show, hoping for additional seasons, I understand this is disappointing. I am sorry,” Miller added.
