Mombasa Man Dies After Beating From Sex Workers

On Monday, November 7, a man from Mombasa died  following a beating by a group of sex workers in the city.

The man succumbed to his injuries while he was being attended to at the Coast Provincial General Hospital, Bombolulu.

According to Bernad Omollo, the area chief, the man is said to have sought the services of one of the sex workers on Saturday night, but refused to pay the following morning.

“Some of the girls smashed a a beer bottle against the man’s face, vowing to kill him if he didn’t pay their colleague her dues,” he stated.

Following his refusal to pay, the twilight girl summoned her colleagues over the phone to force payment.

“In the morning, the client refused to pay the girl her dues, forcing her to alert her colleagues,” an eye witness stated.

Police were called to the incident and took the man to the Emergency Care Facility, where Coast Provincial General Hospital area Chief Bernard Ogolla, announced his death a day later.
