Murang’a Man Kills Brother Who Employed Him As Caretaker Of His Property

A man identified as Christopher Mburu Wakahiu, 26, has killed his brother who had employed him as a caretaker of his property in Murang’a County.

The victim who is a businessman in Nairobi is said to have visited his parents at Gaturi village in Murang’a over the weekend before his life was cut short on Sunday evening, January 17.

On his way back to Nairobi, the businessman passed by a site where he had employed his brother as a caretaker to check the progress of a structure he was raising.

The DCI disclosed that while at the site, he was joined by the brother but the two got into a quarrel which later turned fatal. Wakahiu stabbed his brother deeply into the left side of the chest, killing him instantly.

“While at the site, he was joined by the suspect, whom he had employed as a caretaker. The two are said to have engaged in a quarrel over an unestablished issue.

Manhunt for Wakahiu who fled after the heinous act has been launched by Murang’a-based detectives.
