Nelson Havi, in a recent interview questioned President Uhuru’s motives on pushing so hard for the revenue allocation formula and the constitutional amendment.
According to Havi, he claimed it is really suspicious when the president knows he only has two more years in office yet pushing so hard for the referendum.
Furthermore, he noted the President is behind the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), and the one advising senators on the revenue sharing formula that has been troubling the Senate for long.
“Who is behind this clamor for constitutional change? Who is behind the BBI? Who is advising on revenue allocation?
We should be very worried when a President who has less than 2 years in office demands that we amend the constitution,” he noted while speaking on Citizen TV.
