After Tanzania singer Ommy Dimpoz crossed the ‘bro code,’ he is now paying the price. His former bestfriend and Bongo superstar, will not promote his new song, ‘Wanjera.’
Couple of months ago, there were sexy pictures of Wema and Ommy making rounds on social media. The duo took the photos in bed while on a tour in South Africa. When later questioned to clarify what the pictures meant, Ommy responded by saying the pictures were taken normally just like any other, and they were on a business trip.
He went ahead and stated that, Diamond and Wema were his friends ‘separately’ even before they began dating. He cautioned against reading further into detail claiming he wouldn’t lose any of them as a friend.
But this clearly did not go well with Diamond who is currently expecting a baby with Ugandan, Zari Hassan. After Ommy released his song, Diamond who has previously supported him decided not to help him promote his new single, ‘Wanjera.
Asked why, Ommy said:
Sijui mbona hakufanya hivyo, labda umuulize. (I don’t know why he did not promote my song, perhaps you should ask him.)
In the video, Wema is the main woman, and some scenes contain the photos that were making rounds on social media.
