Today morning, a man took to his Facebook account and went live before taking his own life. This has left experts pleading with parents to keep their kids off social media for the whole day as they trace down the video and erase from all sites.
The disturbing video, which is too graphic to share, was originally live-streamed on Facebook before making its way to the video-sharing app early on Tuesday. But on TikTok, snippets of the video are not only widely accessible but are even being recommended to users without warnings.
‘Check in with your kids today,’ Susan McLean, a cyber security expert spoke to Dialy Mail adding, ‘They most likely will know about it. It is also being hidden behind cat videos as well.’
On a statement being shared online they added that they will be banning any accounts found sharing the horrific video.
