Police officers finally arrested a pastor they have been tracking down for nearly a month. The pastor is suspected of allegedly defiling and impregnating two of his daughters, an offence that is highly prohibited by the law.
Sources reveal that one of the girls is alleged to have already given birth. The Pastor was detained at the Sagana police station in Kirinyaga county as law enforcement officers launched investigations into the matter.
Moses Ivuto, Kirinyaga West Deputy County Commissioner, stated that the suspect was in police custody and that the government was going to make sure that justice is served for the school going minors whose studies have been put to a standstill.
“Police finally nailed him and he will soon be arraigned in court. He has ruined the lives of his school-going children and we shall not spare him.
“We, the government cannot allow anyone to sexually exploit young girls and he will face the full wrath of the law,” stated the Deputy Commissioner.
The mother to the pregnant daughters stated that she found out about her daughters’ pregnancies through their teachers and doctors confirmed that they were indeed pregnant.
