As of late last night, it was difficult to tell exactly where Nairobi River is located, or rather it’s onset. Langata road turned into a huge river with cars floating on water like boats.
Langata rd/Mbagathi Rd roundabout was completely flooded. One could not even access the T-mall. The nearby Shell also must have run into losses as it was completely flooded. Motorists were stranded as they struggled to go through the angry “langata river”
Other areas that experienced similar situation include the Bunyala Rd, Ojijo, City Mortuary roundabout, Silver Spring roundabout, Globe and Valley rd roundabouts. Drainage! Drainage! Drainage!
