Its just 20 days since floods occurred in Bondo and Narok leaving a chilling mark and killing residents. Five people feared dead in Bondo Floods. In Summary, Two dams in Miruka and Ochot overflowed into the nearby villages, destroying property and threatening lives.

Mr Morris Omogo said his son, Kenneth Otieno, who is a boda boda rider was recovered at Alara area of Bondo town.

Bondo Traders Association secretary Enos Ruongo said a large number of boda boda riders, vehicles and people were unable to cross the flooded area.

Deputy sub-county commissioner Samson Akatch said three bodies had been recovered while two other villagers were still missing

‘‘My brother is still missing after the heavy rains; I call upon the concerned authorities to erect a bridge across the road,’’ said Mr Samuel Otieno who lives in the area.

Several people are feared dead and property worth thousands of shillings destroyed after flash floods hit Narok Town.

At least 10 vehicles were swept away and the Narok-Bomet road was cut off temporarily Tuesday afternoon after flood waters swept through the town.

Witnesses said they saw three bodies in the Ngare Narok River.

One building in the town collapsed and it is not clear whether there are people trapped inside.
