Orange Democratic party (ODM) leader, Raila Odinga has finally hit the final nail in the NASA circus after publicly admitting the opposition coalition is no more.
During an interview on Sunday 9 August with NTV, Raila admitted NASA was not a political party as many viewed it but only a pre-political outfit.
“If the pre-election coalition wins, they form a government and share. If they don’t the coalition dies automatically…There is nothing else.. NASA did not form the government,” said Raila.
This now brings the end of the rocky relationship of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford leader Moses Wetangula and the ODM leader Raila.
The cracks are speculated to have began soon after the other 3 principals were absent during the swearing in of Raila as ‘The People’s president’.
It further worsened in March same year after the famous handshake between Raila and President Uhuru.
Raila chose to remain non-committal to comment on alleged secret deal between him and Kalonzo where he was to support Kalonzo Musyoka for the 2022 Presidency.
“I really do not want to talk about that…I do not know the context in which Kalonzo talked about it…I do not want to discuss about it,” Raila said.
