Resumption of Issuing Good Conduct Certificate to Start Tomorrow Says the DCI

The measures placed by the Kenyan government to curb the coronavirus pandemic spread saw the closure of Director of Criminal Investigation offices on 16 March 2020. Most of the government service provision entities were scaled to zero operation during this period.

The DCI today announced the resumption of giving out police clearance certificate formerly known as Good Conduct but with guidelines and measures in place.

The DCI has noted;

“Only those with appointments and who arrive at the designated time will be allowed past the gate. Kindly bear with us as we strive to serve you during these challenging times.”

Through their social media platform, the DCI has urged those in need of police clearance certificate to apply via e-citizen while acquiring the purported document.
