Musician Steven Otieno, AKA Stivo Simple Boy yesterday celebrated his birthday. Simple boy recently rose to fame after introducing to Kenyans his hit song Vijana Tuache Mihadarati, on Ebru TV’s Chipukeezy Show, which was released over a year ago.
In the song, Simple Boy rallies the youth to stop drug abuse and make something better off their lives.
The musician who hails from Kibera yesterday took to instagram and posted a photo captioning;
HAPPY Birthday to Me.
Leo ni siku yangu ya kuzaliwa. Naomba Mungu anipee nguvu na hekima niendelee kuwaelimisha na kuwaburudisha mafans wangu Wa nguvu na kwa hakika vitu vipya vinakuja kukuja. Thanks na mbarikiwe hii mwaka mpya. Ausio Ndio manake.” she concluded.
He later posted a video of fans showering him with water in the streets.
He captioned it as;
Inauma but itabidi nizoeye. Asanteni kwa L. O. V. E. mmenionyesha kwa safari na haswa leo siku yangu ya kuzaliwa, Mungu awabariki.” he wrote.
