Lali Omar, boyfriend to the late Tecra Muigai has been set free by the Director of Public Prosecutions. The DPP dropped the murder case and requested for an open inquest.
Lali Omar was on Monday charged with murder for the Keroche breweries heiress Tecra Muigai. He appeared before Garsen Law courts and according to his statement, Tecra fell in the bathroom and later died.
The office of the Garsen DPP requested for fresh investigation into Tecra’s cause of death. However, it was said there was no enough evidence to prosecute Lali against Tecra’s death.
Tecra died in May 2nd and reports indicates she was found unconscious with injuries on her head believed to have been sustained from the fall. She was laid to rest on May 16, in Naivasha.
