The Pentagon recently reached out to a new supersonic plane building company called Exosonic to come up with a design as well as to build a supersonic jetplane for the president of the United States.
The plane will have a 1.8 Mac speed which translates to 1380 miles per hour that is double the current speed of the Air Force One. The plane will have a muted sonic boom, a 70 seat equipped with all radio communications that any Air Force One plane should have.
The company was awarded the contract worth $1 million that should carry on for the next 24 months before they introduce the plane to the Pentagon.
