Woman Files Lawsuit To Disrupt The Late Mp Justus Murunga’s Burial

On Wednesday, November 18, a woman filed a lawsuit at the Milimani Law Courts alleging to have sired children with the late Matungu Mp Justus Murunga.

The woman, Agnes Wambui Wambiri, claimed that she had been in a relationship with Justus Murunga for seven years and they had been blessed with two children.

I first met the deceased in 2012, when he was a supervisor at the Embakasi Ranching while I was a businesswoman engaged in vendition of beverages and snacks within Sewerage area, Ruai,” a statement read.

Wambiri through her lawyer Danstan Omari, wants the deceased’s body to remain at the Lee Funeral Home until her case is heard and concluded.

“That pending the hearing and determination of the instant application, this honourable court be and is hereby requested to issue a temporary injunction restraining the 1st and 2nd defendants, either by themselves, servants, agents or employees, from conducting the burial, interment or cremation, and in any manner whatsoever, dispose of the body or remains of the late Justus Murunga Makokha,” read the documents.
