The building bridges initiative, commonly referred to and abbreviated as the BBI Report was birth by the handshake, after so much confrontation, opposition and destabilization of the prevailing good political and economic conditions, the seating president His Excellence Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and the then opposition leader Rt. Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga, opted for unity by doing the unthinkable and shook hands “the handshake”. A move that so a troubled country calm almost immediately!
The handshake aftermath saw various politicians aligned themselves into various groups with the driving factor being whether they support or oppose the handshake that some thought and still think had some malicious agreements and hidden agenda since many if most were not privy to what was discussed and agreed upon on the handshake except for that appearance on.. .Morning March 2018 where the two major principalities showed up together and shook hands, marking a totally new era in the prevailing political temperatures in our country Kenya. Since then March, 2018 the political alignment in this country has been an interesting game of the political giants of our beautiful motherland to watch. Talking of political giants in our country they include; the seating president His Excellence Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, the Orange Democratic Movement leader Rt. Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga and Dr. William Samoei Ruto
With the release of the BBI report theirs bound to be major political births and end of some political careers depending on an individual’s choice of whether to support or reject the BBI report. The BBI report is set to set clear political allies for the 2022 elections and change of the political guard.
The tough question are bound to be asked,
Will you read the BBI Report ama utasomewa?
Who will support who?
Who is lying to who?
Once these questions are addressed, literally speaking from the building bridges initiative, the bridge will no longer be of help since now all shall have become one and there being no other puzzle to be solved the 2022 politics will commence, with the big four agenda already a thing of the past and our leaders having forgotten about the promises they made, if not having little or nothing to talk about on the agendas that were the major political campaigns pillars just to get their political seats.
