Governor Waiguru’s Home Raided By EACC detectives

The Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission detectives have raided the offices and home of Kirinyaga governor, Anne Waiguru.

It is said they were searching for pivotal documents in the ongoing graft probe against the governor who has been in the past and recent accused of embezzling funds.

It is reported she was interrogated for over eight hours on Wednesday July 22, 2020  at the EACC offices over the drained kshs 6 million in illegal allowances.

She was also questioned over allegations of irregular tender awards amounting to sh 10.6 million.

The raid today in her home comes barely two months after the Kirinyaga county MCAs attempted to impeach her.
