Kisii Central Senior Police Officer Found Dead Inside Car

Kisii Central Police OCPD Symon Gababa was found dead inside his car on Saturday, December 19, 2020.

County Police Commander Jebel Munene confirmed the incident. He stated that the vehicle had been parked outside staff quarters in Milimani area where the officers found the body.

However, the cause of death was not yet established. Police have launched an investigation into the sudden death of the senior police officer.

The body has been taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue awaiting postmortem.

On Friday December 18, the OCPD led a team of officers to provide security at the burial of the late Engineer Barnabas Ariga.

According to his junior officers, the OCPD was communicating with them through phone calls.

Gababa has held a variety of senior positions in different regions in the country. He was an OCPD in Taita Taveta and Nyandarua counties.
