Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has asked Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho to consider joining Jubilee Party ahead of the 2022 General Election.
Ahmednasir realized Joho had done a good job as governor, but had minimal chances to thrive beyond his current position in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
The senior counsel commended Joho for cleaning up the mess in Mombasa and ensuring Kenya’s second largest city had a beautiful sight for tourists and even locals.
The lawyer, however, noted that the best way for Joho’s breakthrough would be to leave the ODM and join the ruling Jubilee Party.
“Mombasa is clean and nice. Governor Hassan Ali Joho has done great job. He needs to move to the next level in national govt. He has reached the apex in his party ODM and the next smart move is to sign for my beloved Jubilee. That is where his future is,” he tweeted.
