Oburu Odinga Distances Himself From Governor Obado’s Impeachment.

The Orange Democratic Party Patron Oburu Odinga has come out to distance himself from Governor Obado’s impeachment after rumours of him going to save the governor surfaced. He recently stated that as a friend, he will let the Governor carry his own cross but he will pray for him.

“Obado is my friend but let him carry his own cross. Whenever a friend is in trouble, the only thing you can do for them is to pray for them,” said Oburu.

Oburu Oginga said that the decision to impeach the governor was a party decision and whatever the MCA’s would decide about Obado would still work for him. “I do not have anything to do with the things happening in Migori. It is a party decision and I do not want to be dragged into it,” said the lawmaker.

So far the impeachment is still promised to the people but Raila also distanced himself from the process and called for unity. Raila hasn’t been keen on the case of Governor Obado.
