Churchill Comedian Herman Gakobo Kago popularly known as Prof Hamo has been fired from Royal Media Services owned radio station, Hot 96.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation, the presenter was sent home after scandal with comedian Jemutai.
“He was relieved of his duties after the scandal with Stella Bunei Koitie (Jemutai Chibambe) emerged,” an insider at the station said.
“Hamo no longer works for the station. We, however, wish him the best in all his endeavours,” another source added.
The comedian and Jemutai were involved in a paternity scandal, after Jemutai accused Hamo of abandoning his two children.
Hamo responded by claiming that his wife took over the situation and sent Jemutai upkeep money.
“I have children who live with me and others who don’t live with me. I have been providing for my children from day one and there’s no day they went without food or shelter or anything they need,” he stated.
On Tuesday, May 11, Jemutai took to social media to reveal that DNA results confirmed the comedian sired their two children.
