The Tanzanian opposition Politician, Tundu Lissu Antiphas has claimed their party office in the north-eastern town of Arusha has been firebombed.
The Chadema Party leader claimed the office was destroyed on the eve of his visit to the town Friday, 14 August.
Posting it on twitter her termed the heinous act as “terror and intimidation” ; adding that his planned visit was still on despite the act.
Tundu Lissu came back to Tanzania a month ago after surviving an attempted assassination in 2017 that led him seek medical treatment in Kenya and Belgium.
The politician was nominated by his party Chadema to run for presidency in the coming general elections in October 2020.
