Malindi MP, Aisha Jumwa has disappeared after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji issued a statement of approval of her prosecution.
The lawmaker is alleged to have misappropriated constituency development funds amounting to sh 19 million.
Detectives have launched a search to determine her whereabouts as they bid to arraign her in court to face the charges leveled against her.
The other six accomplices have been arrested today morning who were said to be proxies in the fraud.
