Ann Kiguta had one of the hottest interviews she might ever host and it all backfired on her. She has been hosting the prime time news’ Punchline on Sundays with a twist on which she puts politicians in a hot seat.
This time she ended up hosting Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino. She was set and determined to bring him down a notch or two concerning the Dj Evolve Case but it turned out like the MP was readily prepared to answer the questions and at the same time evade them.
Ann Kiguta asked, “What would you like to tell Kenyans given that the only question they want to know is about DJ Evolve’s shooting?” To which Babu Owino unflinchingly replied that the matter was before the court. Ann farther persisted asking how Babu Owino was still in office even after such grave accusations concerning the Dj Evolve case to which Babu replied saying “The Constitution is very clear, you are innocent until proven guilty.”
She accused Babu Owino of using the online classes he had been hosting as a way of hood winking Kenyans to forget the Dj Evolve case but Babu Owino was unmoved by the statement as he went on to tell Ann how much parents have been appreciating the lessons offered and that they had even been requesting him to add more subjects to be taught.
When Babu Owino was asked once again what he would say about the Dj Evolve shooting and how the case is proceeding his response back was, “I would like to tell Kenyans to follow the online tutorials on my Facebook page. We want to revolutionize education.”
It caused an uproar on the internet as Kenyans flooded to congratulate Babu Owino for winning over Ann Kiguta.
